Part 1  - computer based theory test including hazard perception
       Part 2 - Test of your driving ability
       Part 3 - Test of your instructional ability  

You may take the Part 1 examination as often as you need, but you MUST pass parts 2 and 3 within THREE ATTEMPTS. Having passed Part 1 you have 2 YEARS to complete Parts 2 and 3 or you will have to restart at the begining.

What to do first

Order the ADI starter pack and complete the enclosed registration form and send to the registrar at DSA where it will be processed and you will then be informed if your application is successful. You will also need to provide two character references who will be prepared to vouch for you if contacted by the registrar. There will also be a criminal record check made to ensure that you are a fit a proper person.
